Summary
A confidential manufacturing facility in Fairfield, OH is seeking a Painter to join its production team. This role is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing industrial equipment to meet strict quality and performance standards.
The Painter will play a key role in ensuring products are finished with precision, durability, and consistency while supporting both customer and defense-related specifications.

Candidates with experience in industrial painting, manufacturing, automotive, military, or heavy equipment environments are strongly encouraged to apply.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect parts before, during, and after painting to ensure quality standards are met
- Mask and protect non-coated surfaces using tape, wrap, or other protective materials
- Mix paints and prepare materials according to specifications and work instructions
- Verify coating thickness, coverage, and uniformity prior to curing or final inspection
- Operate spray painting equipment to apply consistent, high-quality finishes
- Perform touch-ups and corrective finishing as required
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in compliance with safety standards
- Safely handle and move materials using appropriate equipment and procedures
- Follow all applicable environmental, safety, and quality guidelines
- Support production goals while maintaining strong attention to detail and workmanship standards
- Participate in cross-training and assist with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- 2+ years of industrial, manufacturing, or automotive painting experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings
- Experience working with MIL-Spec or equivalent quality standards preferred
- Familiarity with spray painting equipment and industrial coatings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Valid driver’s license required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
