Gaia Evolution Spa & Salon is an Aveda-exclusive spa and salon specializing in organic and natural skincare. We are looking for a passionate esthetician who loves their work, is committed to building a loyal clientele, and is excited to grow with our company.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, and team-oriented. They should provide excellent customer service, maintain a professional and positive attitude with both clients and coworkers, and be committed to continuous learning.
Required Experience
Prior skincare knowledge and hands-on experience are required. Candidates must be licensed and qualified to perform the following services:
· Customized facials · Microdermabrasion · PCA chemical peels · Hydro-dermabrasion · Micro-current treatments · Epidermal leveling · Oxygenation treatments · Phototherapy LED treatments · Body wraps · Face and body waxing, including Brazilian and bikini waxing
Responsibilities;
- Strict time management for both arriving at work and appointment schedule On time.
- Selling retail products reaching monthly targets
- Comprehensive knowledge of skincare ingredients, formulations, and their appropriate use to deliver personalized treatments plans and professional product recommendation.
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance at all times by adhering to the company's dress code and grooming standards, reflecting the high-quality image and values of the spa.
- Adhering to spa policies, procedures & protocols
Qualifications;
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to provide exceptional service to our diverse clientele.
- Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience as an esthetician, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client care and high-quality skincare services.
- Exceptional customer service skills are essential, with a proven ability to build trust, foster long-term client relationships, and promote client retention.
- Applicants must be licensed to practice esthetics in the State of Illinois
