Spring City Aviation is seeking a professional and safety-focused pilot to join our flight department operating the Cessna Citation X. This position will begin as Second in Command (SIC) with a planned upgrade to Pilot in Command (PIC) after approximately 12 months based on performance, experience, and operational needs. Schedule will be 8/6 schedule. Looking to add to our Team for a July 13 class date!
The SIC will assist the Captain in the safe, efficient, and professional operation of the aircraft while providing exceptional service to passengers. Candidates with prior jet experience are preferred.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
We are hiring a Citation X pilot to be an integral part of our growing and in demand charter and P. 91 operations. Our crew members are responsible for ensuring seamless operations while maintaining full compliance with FAA regulations. PIC will be responsible for the safe operation of aircraft, adhering to FAA regulations, and delivering exceptional service to clients. Responsibilities include pre-flight planning, conducting aircraft inspections, coordinating flight schedules, and ensuring passenger safety and comfort. The role also involves collaborating with operations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of aviation protocols and standards.
Competitive Pay and Incentives:
- Starting SIC salary: $85,000 (total package value is $100,300 min)
- Expected upgrade to Captain/PIC after approximately 12 months
- Captain/PIC salary upon upgrade: $165,000 (total package $194,700)

Minimum Job Requirements:
- 2,000–2,500 total flight hours required
- Multi-engine experience required
- Jet experience strongly preferred
- Type rating preferred
- ATP certificate preferred or ability to obtain
- Current FAA First Class Medical
- Strong communication and CRM skills
- Ability to travel on flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally if required
- Must be available to begin training for the July 13 class date
- Must reside (or be willing to relocate) within 60 minutes of KUES (required)
- Maintain professional appearance at all times
Qualifications:
- Proficient in adherence to FAA regulations and safety protocols
- Detail-oriented approach to aircraft maintenance and safety inspections
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic schedule and operational needs
- Ability to pass and participate in drug/alcohol testing program
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs

Responsibilities
