The Behavioral Health team at Iowa Specialty Hospitals and Clinics is seeking a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who is passionate about providing excellent care. Iowa Specialty Hospitals and Clinics focus on optimizing the practice environment so our clinicians can feel proud of the care they give. This role will function as a critical member of the Behavioral Health team working collaboratively with a group of therapists.
Position
- Provide services in the Hampton Dumont Community School District and Family Practice Clinic
- Experience and passion for working with young children (0-5) and children (6 and up) is desired
- 1 week of Emergency Call rotation every 20 weeks
- Flexible schedule with a 4 day work week
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family and group therapy
- Complete psychosocial evaluations of patients
- Collaborate with fellow clinicians and medical staff
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted license in Iowa; LISW, LMSW, LMHC or tLMHC
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, physicians and staff
