GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
The Operations department oversees the purchasing role in the company, such as sellable goods, components, and office supplies. Operations tracks purchases from planning to purchase to delivery.
This includes procurement, storage, distribution, and tracking of inventory items to ensure adequate stock levels, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to company standards.
The Operation Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the procurement function within the organization and is responsible for overseeing the efficient management and control of all inventory-related activities within the organization.
This role involves developing procurement strategies, and optimizing the procurement process to achieve cost savings and ensure the timely and efficient acquisition of goods and services.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement Planning:

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements within the procurement function.

Supplier Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

Negotiate and manage complex contracts to ensure favorable terms for the organization.

Address supplier concerns and resolve disputes effectively.

Procurement Process Optimization:

Streamline the procurement process to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Implement best practices and industry standards in procurement operations.

Monitor and improve procurement workflows and procedures.

Cost Control and Budget Management:

Develop and manage the procurement budget.

Analyze pricing trends, market conditions, and supplier performance to optimize costs.

Implement cost control measures and track cost savings.

Sales Order Processing:

Sales order management and fulfillment management.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to legal and ethical standards.

Mitigate procurement-related risks and maintain documentation for audits.

Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance and key performance indicators.

Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.

Team Leadership:

Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals.

Set performance goals, provide feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related.

Several years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record in leadership roles.

Knowledge of procurement software and tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
-
Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Proficiency with Google workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong attention to deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications in procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CIPS).

Understanding of customs, VAT and Incoterms for export/import activities.

Strong knowledge and working experience with ERP.
-
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Strong math and research skills.

Basic knowledge of the differences between Nintendo Switch / Sony PS4 & PS5 / Microsoft Xbox game consoles.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Background working in Japanese manufacturing Company is plus.
