- Reviewing plans, specifications, and project documents to determine scope of work.
- Conducting site visits to assess existing roof conditions, measurements, and potential challenges.
- Preparing detailed takeoffs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted work.
- Creating accurate cost estimates and bid proposals aligned with company pricing standards.
- Communicating with general contractors, suppliers, and project managers to clarify scope, pricing, and project requirements.
- Identifying risks, exclusions, and value‑engineering opportunities to protect project profitability.
- Tracking bid deadlines, addendums, and revisions to ensure timely submission.
- Supporting project handoff by providing detailed estimate breakdowns to operations teams.
