Duties
- Perform professional nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in accordance with health regulations to ensure client safety
- Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail treatments and color choices based on client preferences and skin tones
- Manage appointment scheduling using salon software like Millennium or similar platforms to optimize client flow
- Engage clients through social media management by posting updates, showcasing work, and responding to inquiries to build community engagement
- Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, skincare items, and treatment packages to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing check-ins/check-outs, and handling payments efficiently
- Conduct product demos for new nail care products or treatments like dermabrasion or dermal fillers when applicable
- Collaborate with team members on service offerings like body waxing or eyelash extensions to provide comprehensive beauty solutions
- Stay current with industry trends in color theory, new techniques like hair threading or tattooing, and advanced treatments such as esthetic laser therapy
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license with specialization in nail care required.
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician with strong skills in manicure/pedicure techniques and nail art design
- Knowledge of salon management software such as Millennium or similar systems for scheduling and record-keeping
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients
- Strong sanitation practices adhering to health regulations for sterilization of tools and workstations
- Familiarity with retail sales strategies and upselling techniques to promote products confidently
- Experience with social media management tools like MINDBODY or similar platforms for marketing purposes.
- Demonstrated professionalism in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
