Become the Med Spa Manager at Health + Glow
We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate, organized and motivated Med Spa Manager for our Medical Spa. Candidates must have a passion for the beauty and wellness industry, operations and sales.
Position Overview:
A Med Spa Manager at Health + Glow is responsible for the various team members who report to you and enable the smooth function of the med spa’s day-to-day operations. They must also ensure that the policies and guidelines laid down by management are implemented by all team members within the med spa. They will oversee the day-to-day operation of the front desk, retail area, treatment areas and team members. Also, deal with customer grievances and complaints. They must be able to work under pressure and multi-task, with the ability to take on any role required to facilitate a good workflow.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement policy and procedures for various aspects of operations. Enhance current and create new standards
- Responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews, conflict management, business building, skill enhancement and goal setting
- Implement a healthy, effective level of communication between all team members
- Ensuring med spa treatment quality controls, including service, cleanliness and product usage
- Managing purchase orders for professional treatment and operational supplies
- Development of sales targets and analysis of weekly, monthly and annual goals and strategy for increase in sales
- Implement monthly promotions and programs and special events
- Responsible for inventory management within the med spa
- Maintains and develops operating budget
- Deal with guest complaints/concerns and try to resolve problems independently whenever possible
- Provide an unequaled experience for our guests and associates
- Meet regularly with owners and attend meetings as required
- Prepare payroll
- Assist in short and long range strategic planning to ensure that the med spa operates cost effectively and efficiently
- Organize in house events, promote specials and attend offsite events
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years management or operational experience within Med Spa Industry
- BA preferred or certificates/licenses in related field
- Knowledge of med spa products, med spa and medical cosmetic procedures and inventory management
- Working knowledge of Zenoti, G Suite, Microsoft and iOS
- Must be able to be productive and efficient in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and delegate work appropriately and fairly
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills
- Must have the ability to deal well with people
- Must be able to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to create and implement documents
- Strong customer service orientation and skills
