American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Telemetry position in Alabaster, AL, requiring 2+ years of telemetry experience and night shift availability.

13-week contract at an acute care hospital in Alabaster, AL
-
4-Medical unit with 21 beds serving acute care and intermediate acute care patients
-
Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, 3x12s
-
Every 3rd weekend required, plus additional weekends as needed

Patient ratio of 1:6 (variable)
-
No on-call requirements

Floating required as needed to like units, including facilities within a 25-mile radius

EMR: Epic
-
Active AL RN license or compact RN license required — no hits on license accepted

Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, NCI, and CPI — American Red Cross certifications are not accepted

Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience required

Medical-surgical and telemetry background preferred

Certifications must not be expired or set to expire within 30 days of start date

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted

Navy scrubs required
