We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Electrical Test Technician to support RF and microwave test, calibration, and characterization activities in our Electrical/RF lab. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and quality of test data across our cable solutions, working closely with engineering to troubleshoot test setups and keep lab operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities
RF & Microwave Testing
- Set up, calibrate, and perform measurements on RF testing equipment and electrical test stations for cable solutions.
- Perform and oversee manual calibration of RF and microwave instruments, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and related equipment.
- Perform and oversee calibration of electrical instruments, including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, hi-pot testers, accelerometers, and related equipment as needed.
- Analyze and interpret test data to characterize product and equipment performance.
- Perform test setup troubleshooting to ensure accurate data and characterization.
Lab Operations & Support
- Lead daily operations of the Electrical/RF lab to meet turnaround times and quality goals.
- Maintain calibration records, test documentation, and related lab records.
- Support communication and coordination between the RF/Electrical lab and engineering teams.
Assembly & Mechanical Support (Preferred)
- Perform fine soldering and mechanical assembly of small electronic and electromechanical components for debugging.
- Operate microscopes, precision hand tools, and assembly fixtures.
Qualifications
We are open to candidates with junior to senior level RF testing experience. Our pay rate will be dependent on experience.
- 2+ years of direct experience in RF/microwave testing.
- Experience with lab test equipment, including network analyzers (required), spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
- Working knowledge of S-parameters and calibration fundamentals.
- Experience organizing and processing large volumes of test data.
- Fine soldering and mechanical assembly experience, and comfort operating microscopes, precision hand tools, and assembly fixtures, is helpful but not required.
- Ability to work autonomously and exercise good engineering judgment.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak in English.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
