Responsibilities
- Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activities or security breaches
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Conduct thorough inspections of personnel, vehicles, and packages to prevent theft, unauthorized access, or safety hazards
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities and authorizations of visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating potential threats while ensuring safety for all parties involved
- Utilize first aid skills and CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals until emergency responders arrive
Requirements
- Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles with a focus on surveillance and conflict management
- Valid firearms license or certification as required by local regulations for armed security personnel
- Strong knowledge of CCTV operation, loss prevention strategies, and security protocols
- Certification in first aid and CPR from recognized organizations
- Ability to stay alert during long shifts while maintaining high levels of attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public
- Physical fitness to perform patrols, respond swiftly to incidents, and manage stressful situations confidently
