Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities. checking contractors in and out, and patrolling the property. This role requires a professional with strong conflict management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate surveillance equipment. Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security is highly valued. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment through proactive patrols, surveillance, and incident response.
Shift is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 6pm-6am.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Document incidents thoroughly through detailed reports and maintain logs of daily activities
- Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information while maintaining security protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Conduct security checks on entry points, exits, and sensitive areas
Experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security preferred
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively
- Knowledge of security protocols, access control procedures, and emergency response plans
- Ability to work independently with keen observation skills and attention to detail
