American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Medical-Surgical Direct Observation Unit (2 East Clinical Decision Unit) position at an acute care teaching hospital, requiring PCU experience and vasoactive drip proficiency.

Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 332 staffed beds

Medical/Telemetry Observation Unit (2 East Clinical Decision Unit)

Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (3x12-hour shifts)

Floating required across all 3 affiliated hospitals (Martin North, Martin South, and Tradition — all within approximately 20 miles)

Charting via Epic

Block scheduling is not available

26-week contract
-
Active FL or compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS required at time of consideration; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start

Minimum 18 months of telemetry or acute care experience required; 2 years preferred

PCU experience required
-
Vasoactive drip experience required

Two professional references required for consideration

Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Must be nicotine-free (negative 10-panel + nicotine/cotinine drug screen required)
