ELITE PREP ROWLAND HEIGHTS is a premier college admission test preparation center with over 30 years of experience in providing academic tutoring to high school students and preparing them for standardized tests, including the SAT, ACT, and Advanced Placement exams.
We are looking for BRIGHT and ENERGETIC individuals with a PASSION FOR TEACHING to help motivated and ambitious high school students in the following subject areas:
- Honors & AP Biology
- Honors & AP Chemistry
- Honors & AP Physics
- AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A
JOB DETAILS:
- Teach highly motivated students in a classroom setting as well as small-group and individual tutoring sessions.
- Teaching assignments are scheduled during weekday afternoons and Saturday.
- Students may be attending classes and tutoring in-person or online.
- Work must be performed in-person at our office.
- Work with personable staff in a friendly and supportive work environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum BA or BS degree from an accredited U.S. college or university (no current college students, please).
- Graduate degree and/or teaching credential is a plus but not required.
- Prior experience teaching high school and college students is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in a classroom setting.
- Experience with using Google Meet and Zoom.
Starting hourly rate is $25 but may be adjusted based on the applicant's qualifications and experience.
