Job Summary
1st Option Health Care, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Caregiver to provide in-home support for a client on weekends only. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys one-on-one care and helping individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their home.
Schedule:
Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Support mobility, transfers, and safety monitoring
- Provide medication reminders as directed in the care plan
- Encourage engagement in activities and daily routines
- Observe and report changes in the client’s condition
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, PCA, CNA, or home care experience preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid is a plus
