Job Overview
The BOH Evening Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, maintenance, and overall condition of the restaurant’s physical environment during evening service. This role plays a critical part in upholding Nobu’s standards of excellence by maintaining a clean, safe, and fully operational facility that supports both the guest experience and team performance. The BOH Evening Supervisor leads evening dinner service duties of dishwashers and porters through the closing of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and health compliance are consistently maintained.
- Supervise and direct nightly cleaning operations across all areas of the restaurant.
- Lead, motivate, and guide team members to complete tasks efficiently and in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor closing cleaning processes to ensure full operational readiness.
- Coordinate with external vendors, including dishwashing equipment services, pest control, and other facilities-related providers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment at all times.
- Report to work as scheduled, in proper uniform, well-groomed, and ready to perform duties.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8 hours or more).
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and perform basic maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, minor repairs).
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach as required.
- Ability to move efficiently and safely throughout all areas of the restaurant.
