Licensed Architect / Dept. Manager:
ATC Design Group, an Architectural, Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm located in Escondido, CA is seeking qualified applicants for a Full Time Licensed Architect / Dept. Manager position. Applicant will be tasked with oversight of a small staff, mentoring, construction document preparation/review for commercial retail projects.
Along with the above, the applicant will be responsible for managing multiple projects and coordinating with key personnel. This includes discussions with government agencies, providing direction to subordinate personnel, and meeting project deadlines. The applicant must have substantial knowledge of the California Building Code and how it relates to commercial retail tenant improvement and ground up projects.
Qualifications:
A qualified applicant must:
- Be licensed to practice architecture in the State of California (Additional State Registration is a plus)
- Possess a strong background in commercial/retail construction document preparation
- Demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects
- Have experience directing project teams
- Possess a thorough knowledge of AutoCAD 2017 (Revit experience a plus)
