A premier company in Covington is seeking a dependable General Building Maintenance Technician to join its team. This position is responsible for performing routine building maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance and repair tasks
- Complete minor plumbing repairs and troubleshoot basic plumbing issues
- Conduct minor home/building repairs, including drywall, painting, door and fixture repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment and systems
- Replace light fixtures, filters, and other building components as needed
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Assist with grounds and facility upkeep as needed
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required
- Experience with plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Experience with general building maintenance and minor home repairs
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors as needed
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, handyman, facilities, or property maintenance experience
- Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, or carpentry repair
