This position is intended for the 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Plan and implement engaging enrichment activities aligned with student interests and staff strengths, including arts and crafts, STEM, cooperative games, sports, team-building, and other recreational activities.

Assist with daily supervision of students in both structured and unstructured settings (e.g., hallways, cafeteria, recess, transitions) while using positive, consistent behavior management practices.

Maintain safe, organized, and orderly program spaces, including assisting with classroom and storage area clean-up

Build positive, professional relationships with students to support engagement and maintain a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment.

Communicate and interact professionally with parents, students, and coworkers while maintaining student confidentiality.

Share relevant student observations, concerns, and program feedback with leadership staff as appropriate.

Attend required staff trainings, field trips, and special events as requested.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and occasionally run while supervising students and program activities.

The employee may occasionally lift and move heavy objects.

The employee must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent distractions and interruptions, including phone calls, parent interactions, walkie-talkie communication, and loud settings.

The employee must be able to respond appropriately to emergencies, including student injuries and behavioral incidents.

The employee is required to work outdoors in various weather conditions deemed safe and appropriate for students.
Requirements:

College-level coursework or experience in education or a related field (e.g., psychology, sociology, or human services) with relevant experience working with children preferred, such as school support, childcare, camps, or youth programs.

CPR/AED and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.

Valid driver’s license required.
Schedule:

Monday through Friday scheduling available.

Approximate start time: 1:45 PM, 2:00, 2:15 PM

Flexible end time between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. This can be negotiated at the time of hire.
Rate:
-
$18.50 for college students
-
$20.00 per hour for those with a relevant bachelor's degree or currently employed by a public school system
