We are a non-profit located on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. We can provide a base contractor ID to those who are hired.
Must have a mode of transportation.
Cashier:
- Hours of operation are 0600-1400 (6am-2pm)
- Breakfast shift 0600-1030
- Lunch Shift 1000-1400
Duties:
- Greet customers and take their orders, utilize POS system (Square)
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure food is served in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Stock customer coolers, and help customers in need
Qualifications:
- Ability to pass screening process (simple background check) and gain a contractors ID (which will be provided at no cost)
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role preferred but not necessary
- Knowledge of how POS systems work (registers)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
We are looking for a Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for greeting customers and taking their orders, handling cash and credit payments. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
There is also a good chance to learn our Barista job position and fill in at the coffee shop. The Barista makes an average of $20 per hour.
If you have previous experience as a cashier (even barista) or in a similar role, possess strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
