Join our growing dental team as a Dental Assistant in the vibrant Downtown / North Loop Minneapolis area!

As a key member of our team, you will support clinical procedures, ensure smooth patient flow, and uphold the highest standards of infection control and confidentiality. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of clinical procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics and general dentistry.
- Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, supplies, and equipment ensuring proper sterilization and aseptic techniques.
- Take and develop dental x-rays, including 3D scans when applicable, while maintaining strict adherence to infection prevention policies.
- Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Epic; document medical history, vital signs, and treatment notes accurately.
- Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions, ensuring they understand their treatment plans.
- Maintain clinical confidentiality policies while managing medical documentation and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting with familiarity in dental assisting procedures is preferred. Higher pay is available for dental assistants with additional credentials and certifications!
- Knowledge of dental terminology, equipment operation, and sterilization procedures including infection control standards.
- Ability to perform dental x-ray procedures safely and accurately; certification in dental radiography is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including
- Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is a plus; commitment to ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
