Mover/Driver Requirements and Qualifications:
- The physical ability to lift and move heavy objects throughout a normal workday
- Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
- A positive, collaborative attitude and professional demeanor
- Demonstrate safe driving practices
- Able to adapt to changing schedules or routine
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- MUST have prior moving experience of at least 1 year with a reputable company
- Able to work night, weekends, and holidays as needed
- A high school diploma or GED certificate (preferred but totally not required)
- MUST pass a FULL background check
- Bilingual is a huge plus!
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Driver / Crew Leader to join our team! In this role, you will be the driving force behind efficient moving operations, ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service and safe handling of belongings to deliver a seamless moving experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your moving skills, leadership abilities, and passion for helping clients transition smoothly to their new spaces. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate box trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Lead and supervise a crew of movers, providing clear instructions and motivating team members to perform at their best
- Load and unload customer belongings efficiently using proper techniques.
- Load, secure, and transport furniture, appliances, and other household or commercial items with care to prevent damage
- Properly wrap and protect household goods.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving manual labor to ensure safe handling of items during moves
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, inventory, and vehicle logs for operational efficiency
Experience:
- Previous moving experience is desired but not required. We will train you!
- Prior experience in driving moving trucks is highly desirable, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles is desired but not required.
- Proven ability in heavy lifting, moving furniture or appliances
- Commercial driving experience with a valid driver’s license
- Customer service background demonstrating professionalism and strong communication skills
- Warehouse experience is a plus, highlighting familiarity with loading/unloading procedures and safety protocols
