Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems and property maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration units. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in air conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Company supplied truck, gas card, Home Depot card, shirts and hats. You will need to supply basic hand tools and nonslip shoes.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and components.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of HVAC/R equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues related to refrigeration units and air conditioning systems.
- Perform brazing tasks as needed for repairs and installations.
- Collaborate with other service technicians to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all operations.
- Assist in plumbing tasks related to refrigeration systems when necessary.
- Drive company vehicle to various job sites for service calls.
- Have to pass background test.
- Must be able to work weekends/ emergency calls throughout nights.
- Possibility of travel.
- Must bring positive attitude.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role in HVAC/R.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in property maintenance.
- Familiarity with welding techniques relevant to refrigeration repairs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
