Senior Living Advisor — 1099 | A Life for Seniors
The Role
A Life for Seniors is a senior living placement and advisory service helping families navigate assisted living, home health, hospice, and home care decisions. We operate on a referral-fee model: communities pay after residency thresholds are met; families pay nothing when A Life for Seniors is the original point of contact.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is commission-based. A salary structure may be considered for candidates with demonstrated volume and a documented track record — propose it with your application.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Active book of business in senior living, healthcare liaison, discharge planning, or a directly adjacent field
- Existing relationships with referral sources — SNFs, hospital discharge planners, home health agencies, elder law attorneys, or financial professionals
- Minimum 3 years in senior care sales, placement, or healthcare referral roles
- Daily in-territory presence; personal vehicle required
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business software
What the Work Involves
- Source and manage referrals from existing and new partners
- Guide families through placement decisions across care types: assisted living, memory care, home care, hospice
- Develop and maintain referral relationships within territory
- Operate independently within A Life for Seniors' systems and processes
Compensation Structure
- Commission-based; no cap
- Salary arrangement negotiable for the right candidate — must be substantiated by verifiable prior production
- 1099 independent contractor classification
