Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our distribution center by managing the movement, storage, and handling of materials. This position requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of equipment effectively.
Responsibilities
- Identify products, take serial numbers, P.O. etc.
- Maintain organization within the distribution center by utilizing a warehouse management system.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a safe working environment.
- Skills
- Proficient in operating cherry pickers
- Computers
- Experience in materials handling within a distribution center environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for efficient inventory tracking.
- Ability to perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on communication and collaboration.
