Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team committed to transforming lives through evidence-based behavioral interventions. As a BCBA, you will lead the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Design, oversee, and modify individualized treatment plans based on ongoing data collection and patient progress.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapies, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor client progress and inform treatment adjustments in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions across settings.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and support staff on behavioral therapy techniques and medical documentation standards.
- Maintain accurate medical records, patient assessments, intake documentation, and progress notes in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Demonstrated experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy methods, and data collection procedures.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, patient care practices, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
- Ability to perform patient assessments, conduct intake interviews, and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements related to patient privacy and medical documentation standards.
