Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations and standards.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Conduct regular inventory checks of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Follow proper food safety protocols, including temperature checks and sanitation procedures.
- Assist in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.
Skills
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred.
- Culinary experience with proficient knife skills is highly valued.
- Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Knowledge of catering practices is beneficial.
