American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week night shift contract in Cedar Rapids, IA, requiring ARRT certification and strong OR competency with GE OEC c-arm experience.

Hospital-based radiology department in Cedar Rapids, IA

Night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week

Weekend on-call rotation required

Average of 100 patient scans per day across all techs

Diagnostic equipment includes Philips Diagnostic and Carestream
-
OR equipment includes Hologic breast machine, Philips portable, Siemens Cysto, and GE OEC c-arms
-
Fluoroscopy equipment: Toshiba
-
EMR: Epic
-
Active ARRT certification required
-
Active AHA or ARC BLS certification required
-
Iowa Radiology License/IDPH State Permit highly preferred; license required if applicable — candidates without an active license must apply upon acceptance

Minimum of 24 months of X-Ray experience in a clinic or hospital setting

Strong OR competency and experience required

GE OEC c-arm experience required

Philips equipment experience highly preferred

Siemens Cysto experience highly preferred

Carestream portable experience preferred

Fluoroscopy experience preferred

Driver's license required for consideration

One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years preferred for consideration

First-time travelers are welcome, provided they have at least 24 months of X-Ray experience

Candidates who have been employed at this facility as an FTE or PRN within the past 12 months are not eligible for this position

Contractors are expected to work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day

Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a reduced pay rate
