Hiring Range: $40,000-$45,000 annually (commensurate with directly applicable experience)

Our Group Benefits Operations Enablement Team supports the New Business process by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely handling of group submissions, payments, and commissions. As a Group Benefits Submission & Payments Specialist, you will be responsible for entering and reconciling premium payments, overrides, and commissions, while supporting internal partners, including new business and general agency changes. You will collaborate closely with Operations Enablement teammates to manage daily workflows, maintain accuracy standards, respond to internal inquiries, and support ongoing process documentation and training initiatives.
What Our Submission & Payments Specialists Do:
- Organize and Process: Enter expected override and commission payments for sold cases in an accurate and timely manner into Salesforce; assist with the daily workflow of the admin inbox by communicating with the New Business team members; organize communication and training with the processing of census transfers; track administrative tasks and enrollment progression to monitor needs as they arise and communicate with Supervisor when support is needed
- Collaborate and Communicate: respond to internal staff within required timeframes and record interactions in internal database system; adapt to specific revisions of processes as requested by carriers; maintain OneNote and Training guides by keeping resources current and up-to-date
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with compliance of deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer services skills; ability to secure support and cooperation with others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel); knowledge of databases is desired
