Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painting Subcontractor and or subcontractor crew of 2-4 painters to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring client satisfaction and project excellence. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools and power tools such as airless paint sprayers.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and detailed project plans to accurately execute painting tasks aligned with specifications.
- Perform specialty finishes including industrial painting, stucco application, restoration work, and masonry coatings.
- Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and time requirements for each job.
- Install fixtures, trim carpentry elements, and perform drywall finishing or remodeling tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites and handling equipment responsibly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects with a strong understanding of construction site procedures.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and airless paint spraying equipment.
- Knowledge of color theory and surface preparation techniques to achieve desired aesthetic results
- Familiarity with construction estimating, renovation processes, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and restoration work.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project planning.
- Experience with construction estimating software or schematics is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on handyman experience preferred.
- Valid experience in construction painting including industrial applications; masonry or concrete finishing knowledge is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team on diverse projects
