About the Role
As a Manufacturing Floor Supervisor, you will lead production teams to ensure operational excellence, safety compliance, and adherence to rigorous quality standards. You will play a pivotal role in driving production efficiency and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the shop floor.
Responsibilities-
Direct daily production activities to ensure all output meets engineering specifications and schedule requirements.

Champion a safety-first culture by conducting regular observations and ensuring strict adherence to all workplace safety protocols.

Optimize workflow by managing staffing levels, implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, and maintaining 5S standards.

Lead, mentor, and develop team members through effective performance management, training, and conflict resolution.

Collaborate with engineering and maintenance departments to troubleshoot build issues and minimize production downtime.

Manage administrative tasks including timecard approvals, production reporting, and documentation of standard work procedures.

Conduct pre-production reviews of sales orders and bills of materials to proactively identify and resolve potential discrepancies.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity within a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic database management.

Ability to interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Physical capability to stand for long shifts and maneuver heavy materials up to 50 pounds.

Completion of a formal Team Leader Academy or relevant college coursework.

Technical certifications such as welding or painting credentials.

Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED usage.

Experience with ERP or MRP systems for production planning.
