Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service through active communication and attentive listening
- Assist shoppers with product selections, answer questions about features, and conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight benefits
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately
- Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase store revenue
- Manage merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the sales floor is organized, clean, and inviting
- Conduct stock replenishment by stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries, ensuring clear and professional communication
Requirements
- Weekend availibility
- Previous retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership opportunities
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customers
- Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos to engage customers effectively
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail environments is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
