Registered Nurse/ Licensed Practical Nurse (RN) (LPN) – Belharmon at Cedar Ridge
Location: Belharmon Detoxification Facility, Cedar Ridge
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Position Summary:
Belharmon at Cedar Ridge, our premier 24/7 detoxification facility, is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dedicated team. RNs play a critical role in ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of clients undergoing medical detox from substances. This is a rewarding opportunity for nurses who are passionate about behavioral health and addiction recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nursing assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients in detoxification.
- Administer medications and monitor clients for withdrawal symptoms, side effects, and medical complications.
- Collaborate closely with medical providers and the treatment team to implement individualized care plans.
- Document nursing care, observations, and interventions accurately and timely in the electronic health record system.
- Provide crisis intervention and respond to medical emergencies appropriately.
- Educate clients and families on medications, detox processes, and aftercare planning.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and trauma-informed environment.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Ohio (or eligible for licensure).
- Experience in detoxification, behavioral health, or medical-surgical nursing preferred.
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred).
- Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
