What You Will Do
Lead the implementation of Group Operating Systems to deliver Supply Chain Manufacturing excellence program.
Coordinate the efforts to execute all aspects of operational excellence efforts. Execute the strategy and develop multi-year improvement plan. Manage the efforts to create the cultural change to deliver IOS world class results. Implement strategies across all functions to deliver and sustain best-in-class efficiency across all business and manufacturing systems. Build the foundation for a culture of continuous improvement. Provide capability and capacity in the Company’s manufacturing and supply chain functions (production, inventory, logistics and customer delivery) to deliver world class results. Collaborate with leadership cross-functionally to ensure effective execution of improvement projects while reviewing P&L scope, resources needs and business objectives. Coach, train and develop employees, both direct and indirect reports, to increase network capabilities. Create strong culture within team and model company values and behaviors. Identify appropriate resources to ensure successful implementation and ongoing sustainability. Interface with/influence various corporate functions as well as local plant leadership. Set standards across the business to lead the design and implementation of world class standard to remove losses from the organization. Execute reliability strategy and activities into overall corporate and business initiatives. Position supervises 3 employees: 1 Education and Training Manager, 1 Focused Improvement Manager, and 1 Supply Chain Manager. Travel is required 25% of total time, specifically international travel to Europe for global working sessions; international travel to the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico to oversee the implementation of Group Operating Systems to deliver Supply Chain Manufacturing excellence strategy; and domestic travel to McAdoo, PA to coach team members in Continuous Improvement principles.
Qualifications
- REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related discipline. Requires 5 years’ experience with Master’s degree or 7 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s degree. Must have experience in each of the following skills: Tobacco industry and/or union environment; Supply chain management and integration; Continuous improvement best practices; Project management; Development and execution of strategic initiatives; Loss Elimination; Total Productive Maintenance; High Performance Working Systems; Training Process Management; Equipment Startup Management; Industrial Safety Management; Quality Management; SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Dies) Methodology; Reliability Engineering; Statistical Process Control.
Work Environment and Physical Demand
Requires moderate physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves moderate to heavy weight objects (10 – 50 lbs)
Stand and/or sit for prolonged periods
Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment
Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
Work with equipment or perform procedures where carelessness may result in injury
Experience exposure to uncomfortable work environment due to extreme temperature, noise level, and other conditions including second-hand smoke and/or vape

Annual Base Salary Range: $160563.00 - $256901.00
Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus or incentive compensation.
