We are currently hiring a Transportation & Fleet Manager / Equipment Manager to take charge of our fleet and equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing a fleet of 35 trucks (all repairs, inspections, and DOT reporting)
- Overseeing drivers: hiring, training, scheduling, and day-to-day management
- Training drivers and maintaining company performance and safety standards
- Maintaining all equipment on property, including refrigeration systems, reefer units, and snow removal equipment
- Ensuring compliance, safety, and readiness across the fleet
- Using computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) to track performance, schedules, and reports

- Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of DOT rules and inspection requirements
- Someone who is not afraid to turn a wrench when needed
- Ability to lead, train, and hold drivers accountable
- Organized, dependable, and computer-savvy and willing to jump in whenever needed
