Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that keep our customers coming back for more.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and preparing sauces.
- Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing and payment transactions efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Buss tables and assist with cleaning duties to maintain a welcoming dining environment.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Capability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer experience.
