Overview
Quality Signs and Service is a family-owned full-service commercial sign company. Our company designs and installs commercial signage, as well as performs maintenance and repairs to signage and repairs lighting issues for our customers. We are seeking a full-time Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to perform sign installations, both indoor and outdoor, safely and efficiently. We will provide on the job training. You must not be afraid of heights as you will be required to work off ladders and in a bucket truck. The Technician will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of quality and safety in our operations. Experience is preferred, but not necessary. Quality Signs does pay 100% of your health benefits, including vision and dental.
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions, documenting all findings and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of parts.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to take direction.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of hand tools.
- Driver's license is required-CDL is a plus.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
