212* Therapy is a Pediatric Home Care Company with administrative offices based in Beaumont Tx servicing East Texas. We offer Speech and Occupational Therapy for children 0-18 years of age in the greater Longview area.
A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) administers occupational therapy to children on a weekly basis in their home. This is performed in accordance with physicians orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
This is a perfect position for someone who is looking to broaden their scope of practice working with children or looking for flexibility. therapists are free to choose their service area.
New grads or therapists with pediatric interest are welcome to apply. Shadowing and mentoring opportunities are available.
Must have a current Tx COTA license and CPR.
Responsibilities:
- Preforms services planned, delegated and supervised by the Occupational therapist.
- Assists in preparing clinical and progress notes.
- Participates in educating the patients and family.
- Provides physician prescribed occupational therapy under a written plan of care established by the OT.
- Consults with OT regarding change in treatment.
