Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Server Assistant/Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position is also a tipped position on top of the hourly rate. It requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, teamwork, and an understanding of the fast-paced environment of food service.
Duties
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests efficiently and accurately.
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
- Help set up for banquets and special events as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.
- Support the kitchen team with food preparation tasks when necessary.
- Ensure that all food items are presented according to restaurant standards before serving.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere.
