Assistant Account Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an organized and driven Assistant Account Manager to support key customer accounts and day-to-day business operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building client relationships, coordinating across departments, and supporting business growth initiatives.
You will work closely with internal teams including Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and Cost Management to assist with quotations, customer communications, reporting, and overall account support.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to support long-term business partnerships
- Assist with RFP/RFQ processes, quotations, and project development activities
- Support cost negotiations, issue resolution, and commercial settlements
- Track revenue, spending, and assist with monthly business reporting
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect data and prepare customer quotations
- Provide daily production updates and weekly status reports to leadership
- Help resolve logistics and customer-related commercial issues, including claims and reimbursements
- Support overall business program management and communication with upper management
- Assist in identifying sales strategies and target customer opportunities
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 5–10%)
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of professional work experience
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
- MBA or MS/MA in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of related experience
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or service repair industries preferred
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Project management training or certifications are a plus
