Summary: Looking for a hands-on Farm Equipment Repair Technician to maintain and repair farm and heavy equipment. Role includes mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, welding/fabrication, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot agricultural equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Repair or replace malfunctioning parts
- Welding/fabrication as needed
- Document work and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Follow safety procedures and report hazards
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical experience required; agricultural experience preferred
- Welding/fabrication experience preferred
- Strong English and communication skills required
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with 50 pounds on a frequent basis
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment required
- Valid driver’s license; Class A CDL preferred
