Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic care to our patients. You’ll work closely with our doctors and clinical team to deliver exceptional patient experiences while maintaining efficient clinical flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
- Take and process digital radiographs (including CBCT when needed)
- Conduct periodontal charting and assessments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention, and treatment recommendations
- Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive services
- Assist with patient screening and medical history reviews
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the practice management software
- Collaborate with dentists and team members to support comprehensive patient care
- Follow all infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA protocols
Requirements
- Current Indiana Dental Hygiene license (required)
- CPR certification
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Experience with digital radiography and modern dental software preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy practice setting
