Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures to create a positive first impression
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently using medical administrative support tools
- Maintain accurate patient records, update medical histories, and ensure confidentiality in compliance with privacy regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, insurance information, and follow-up instructions
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate seamless patient flow and timely care delivery
- Manage incoming calls, inquiries, and appointment requests with professionalism and clarity
- Support billing processes by verifying insurance coverage and processing payments as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret patient information and documentation
- Proven ability to provide excellent medical administrative support in a fast-paced environment
- Office experience demonstrating proficiency with scheduling software, electronic health records, or similar systems
