What You’ll Do
As an Escrow Officer, you’ll manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing while providing exceptional communication and service to buyers, sellers, Realtors®, lenders, and attorneys.
You’ll work as a dedicated team with your assigned Escrow Processor, allowing you to focus on delivering an elevated closing experience while ensuring every transaction is handled accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Responsibilities
- Manage escrow files from contract through successful closing.
- Work collaboratively with your assigned Escrow Processor to ensure every transaction stays on schedule.
- Review contracts and identify items requiring immediate attention.
- Coordinate with Realtors®, lenders, buyers, sellers, attorneys, and vendors throughout the transaction.
- Prepare and balance settlement statements and Closing Disclosures.
- Conduct professional in-person and remote closings.
- Review executed closing documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain detailed file documentation in Qualia.
- Ensure compliance with Florida law, lender requirements, and underwriter guidelines.
- Resolve title and closing issues while providing proactive communication to all parties.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience that creates lifelong clients and referral partners.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Florida Title Agent License required or able to obtain within 3 months of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of Florida escrow closing experience.
- Strong understanding of Florida title insurance and closing procedures.
- Experience with Qualia or similar title software preferred.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple files while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a solutions-first mindset.
