Key Requirements of an Automotive Technician:
This is not an entry-level lube or tire position. Candidates must have hands-on experience performing general automotive repairs and diagnostics beyond oil changes, tire replacement, and routine maintenance.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in general automotive repair and diagnostics (required)
- Experience diagnosing and repairing brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, engine performance, and other mechanical issues
- Must own a complete set of personal tools suitable for the position
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, management, and fellow technicians
- Demonstrated work ethic and reliability, with attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while also working independently when needed
- Commitment to safety standards and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
