Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused technician to join our growing optometry practice. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and professional environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Creating an inviting and fun atmosphere for the patients .
- Pre-Screening Patients
- Scribing for the doctor
- Ordering contacts and training patients on contact lens use
- Sending prescriptions and referrals
- Collaborate with optometrists and other team members to ensure a smooth patient experience
- Provide information to patients about eyewear products, services, and procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in customer service or office management are a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Familiarity with office management software or the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- A positive attitude and a passion for helping people.
