TLC Nurse Solutions is seeking two experienced California LVNs interested in an independent contractor private-duty assignment in San Francisco, CA 94118.
The patient will require skilled nursing support following surgery. Prior nephrostomy tube care experience is strongly preferred.
Services may include:
- Nephrostomy tube care, monitoring, and dressing changes as ordered
- Post-surgical nursing care and observation
- Monitoring the nephrostomy site, tubing, drainage, and output
- Recognizing and reporting signs of infection, obstruction, leakage, dislodgement, or other complications
- Medication administration as ordered and within LVN scope
- Vital signs and ongoing patient monitoring
- Patient and family support and education
- Communication with the patient's healthcare team as needed
- Nursing documentation
- Following physician orders and the established plan of care
The family anticipates needing approximately 6–8 hours of care per visit, likely beginning in the afternoon. Visits may be needed daily or every other day depending on the patient's needs.
Qualifications:
- Current California LVN license in good standing
- Current BLS/CPR
- Professional liability insurance
- Current TB clearance and required health documentation
- Nephrostomy tube care experience strongly preferred
- Post-surgical, private-duty, or home care experience preferred
- Professional, dependable, and comfortable providing care independently in a private home
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity through TLC Nurse Solutions. Independent contractors determine their own availability and may accept or decline assignments offered through TLC.
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
