Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Oversee daily store operations including cash handling, POS transactions (Aloha POS, Micros POS), and shift management.
- Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Supervise kitchen and food production activities, coordinating with culinary staff to optimize food quality and presentation.
- Control inventory levels through regular stock checks, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste.
- Train new staff members on food handling, customer service techniques, POS systems, and safety procedures.
- Monitor staff performance through coaching, conducting interviews, and implementing training & development programs.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and hospitality industry best practices.
- Assist in budgeting efforts by managing operational costs and optimizing resource utilization.
- Foster a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality excellence, and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with supervising responsibilities.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and sales processing.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, team management, and interviewing candidates.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse client needs professionally.
- Familiarity with inventory control practices within the food industry or hospitality sector.
- Ability to manage shift schedules effectively in a fast-paced environment like casual dining or fine dining settings.
- Experience in kitchen management or culinary roles within hotel or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of budgeting principles related to food service management and operational costs.
