SMALL ENGINE MECHANIC / SERVICE TECHNICIAN
The approximate compensation is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal needs among our team.

Responsibilities:
- Provides set-up and repair of lawn & garden equipment
- Diagnoses and repairs small engines/equipment as needed
- Maintains current knowledge of zero-turn mowers and competitive products
- Completes all notes on service works, reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
- Clocking in and out of service jobs in a timely manner for all time and materials used in performing assigned duties
· Clearly explain (if called upon) to the customer’s satisfaction the diagnosis and repair of the machine in question.
· Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with employees, vendors, and customers
· Primary brands we work on are: Cub Cadet, Exmark, Wright, Dixie Chopper, Briggs & Stratton, Kawasaki, Kohler, Echo.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of small engines, electrical, fuel and hydraulic systems
- Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures

- Spring & Summer
- Mon-Fri: 8am- 5pm
- Sat: 8am-12pm
- Fall & Winter
- Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
