Certified substitutes are for those who hold a teaching license or a one, three, or five-year sub license.
Certified Substitute Rates
- Full day substitute (more than 4.25 hours): $154/day
- Half day substitute (2 - 4.25 hours): $77/day
- Assignments of 2 hours or less: $40/day
- 11-19 Days of continual assignment: $182*/day
- Long-Term Sub (20 days or more of a continual assignment): $240*/day
- Long-Term Sub - Weld RE-4 retired teacher (20-days or more of continual assignment): $255*/day
- Current teachers covering in lieu of substitutes during plan time: $31/hour
- ESY Substitutes: $25/hour
- Substitutes who are not notified of a cancellation and show up to the school: $20
